NVCA Streak Ends At One

By coachcuffee

Northern Virginia Christian Academy came into the game looking to extend its win streak to two. Trinity Christian proved to be a tall order however, as the Falcons fell 64-49 in a game slowed by 38 personal fouls.
Sophomore Sam Rattray recorded his third twenty-point game of the season, leading all scorers with 23. Facing a much taller opponent, NVCA struggled to score and find their rhythm all night. Zim Smith provided a bright spot for NVCA coming off the bench, sparking two runs that allowed the Falcons to close a double digit deficit to just six early in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons continue their current four-game home stance Friday night as they take on Hearts in NVIAC conference play.
